Cytisus praecox ‘Allgold’ - Broom |
| |
['Cytisus' - derived from Cythnos, an island of the Aegean]
A small, arching semi evergreen shrub that covers itself with sulphur yellow, highly scented blooms during April and May. The flowers are often described as smelling ‘acrid’ - a scent that drifts a long way on the breeze. A stunning little shrub, although tends to be short-lived.
